JENN RAPP is a Director/Choreographer living in New York City. She has extensive experience working in children’s musical theater, bringing popular cartoon TV characters to the stage for companies such as Dreamworks, HIT Entertainment, Nickelodeon, Disney Creative Entertainment, and Warner Brothers Entertainment. These tours have played to audiences around the world and given her the opportunity to work with casts in English, Spanish, Italian, Dutch, German, Korean, Cantonese, Mandarin, Hebrew and French. As a Choreographer, she has experience in a wide variety of theatrical formats: large scale musical revues, traditional musical theatre, commercials and even a two person musical investment seminar. These shows reflect her skills in a variety of dance styles including jazz, tap, partnering, funk and some comedically infused heavy metal thrashing. She worked with Gordie Brown, comedian/impersonator, in Las Vegas, helping him shape the moves for his one-man show at the Bellagio and on the world premiere production of FINDING NEMO: THE MUSICAL at Disney World in Orlando. In 2010 she began work on the upcoming US tour of MADAGASCAR. She also worked with John Carrafa on ACADEMY for the New York Musical Theatre Festival. In 2009 she Directed/Choreographed an original musical revue for the Shanghai Center Theatre in China, a South African tour of SPONGEBOB SQUAREPANTS LIVE, and a US and Korean tour of THOMAS: A CIRCUS COMES TO TOWN. She also Directed/Choreographed the US National Tour of THOMAS & FRIENDS: LIVE! as well as numerous international productions of the same musical, including tours in Australia, the United Kingdom, South Korea, Hong Kong and Taiwan. |
